The News Reporter will responsible for collecting, writing news, develop news content for all media outlets of SIMEC Group including Weekly SIMEC, SIMECNEWS.COM, Jugobarta.com and other social media platforms. S/He will be responsible for developing ideas for stories, collecting information and writing publishable stories or news reports or creating media contents. In other words, the News Reporter will perform a comprehensive job as a dynamic digital journalist. S/He will also run and plan the digital media content utilizing the SIMEC
Studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of news, writing and editing
- News/stories uploading on the news portal
- Interviewing professionals and officials
- Selecting and managing content for the news portal
- Uploading reports, photos, videos and other form of content on the news portal
- Preparing press release
- Handling institutional social media accounts
- Collaborating with editors, photographers, and other team members to ensure
- comprehensive and high-quality coverage
- Fact-checking of information
