Responsibilities & Context

• Continuously source new subcontract print suppliers based on requirements.
• Ensure their capabilities meet our quality and capacity requirements, and work towards onboarding them as Sailor-nominated suppliers.
• Monitor the production and quality standards of print subcontract factories to ensure they meet with Sailor requirements and customer expectations.
• Ensure proper input and material flow within subcontract print factories, develop timely delivery plans, and execute them effectively to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with designers to monitor sample development and ensure competitive pricing is offered.
• Facilitate coordination between suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all chemical data and pricing, with a continuous focus on innovation and new material development.
• Utilize digital communication tools to facilitate prompt and effective collaboration between suppliers, designers, and internal departments for swift problem resolution.
• Ensure chemicals are compatible with fabric properties and printing processes to achieve optimal print quality and durability.
• Interpret technical packs and design files (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) accurately to support production requirements.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management. Continuously source new subcontract print suppliers based on requirements.
• Ensure their capabilities meet our quality and capacity requirements, and work towards onboarding them as Sailor-nominated suppliers.
