Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a young, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual for WAAW (a clothing brand of Akij INSAF) with at least two to three years of proven experience in the procurement department.

• To ensure sourcing, negotiate and purchase materials from Local vendors.

• Ensure all goods and services purchased comply with company procurement policy & procedure.

• Searching profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.

• To arrange for formation of Contracts/ Agreements/MOU etc.

• Responsible for implementing internal procurement action plan to cater superior delivery services and shorten lead time requirements.

• Link up with cross functional departments, suppliers, warehouse for smooth and uninterrupted operational support.

• Visit market frequently. Deal with relevant authorities and obtain the required permits/license etc.

• Supplier selection and re qualifying to manage the risk.

• Monitoring and measuring supplier performance. Increase the quality and efficiency of communication with supplier.

• Aligns with company strategy and supplier strategy to create competitive advantage
