Responsibilities & Context

The Sales Officer is responsible for supporting the sales department by managing day-to-day activities, interacting with customers, maintaining records, and ensuring excellent service delivery. This role contributes to achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective coordination and proactive support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Officer in monitoring sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and update sales records to support reporting requirements, including purchases, requisitions, and client interactions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate responses.
• Handle routine customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the Senior Officer or relevant departments.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of company products to offer informed recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate with accounts, production, delivery, and other departments to facilitate seamless order processing and delivery.
• Work with the Officer/Senior Officer/colleagues to allocate clients to specific marketing officers for better focus and attention.
• Collaborate in developing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Identify new opportunities to expand market presence and promote the company’s brand.
• Help implement changes in showroom displays and stock arrangements to improve customer experience and sales performance.
• Ensure all records of sales activities, customer appointments, and complaints are accurately documented.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports as directed by the Senior Officer/Showroom IC.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, especially for handling challenging customer situations.
