Responsibilities & Context

• Manual/Electrotherapy: Ensure the safe and effective use of therapeutic equipment.
• Prescription Summary: Thoroughly check consultant prescriptions before therapy.
• Body Examination: Properly examine patients before starting therapies.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments and progress.
• Patient Safety: Ensure the removal of materials that may pose a risk during electrotherapy.
• Valuables Management: Manage patient valuables appropriately, especially for unconscious patients.
• Patient Counseling: Educate patients and their families to prevent further injury or disability.
• Interprofessional Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
• Incident Reporting: Report and record incidents or emergencies promptly.
