Responsibilities & Context
- Contribute to production planning and budgeting.
- Monitor quality assessments to ensure buyers satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe production environment and achieve daily production target.
- Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
- Drawing up a production schedule·
- Strictly follow up hourly production and work for increasing that.
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards, achieve maximum production by lowest cost.
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
- Working closely with the product design and sourcing team.
- Liaising among different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
- Lead and mentor the team by conducting weekly/monthly/yearly reviews.
- Giving required feedback to top management and buyer’s representatives.
- Appointing and interviewing all production staff and fixing their salary where required in association with HR and IE department.
- Must have strong knowledge of different kinds of fabrics in trend.
- Having exposure to work with reputed UK, US, European Brands.
- Able to work in extended working hours.
