• Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the relevant field, along with training in maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and in sexual and reproductive health (SRH).
• The candidate should possess strong counseling skills and be proficient in documentation. Must have wide knowledge of female genital fistula, GBV, gender & other family/ social issues influencing women & child health.
• Applicants should have good computer knowledge, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, and excellent spoken and written English language skills, as well as the ability to produce quality reports.
• A valid motorcycle driving license is required.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary: This position is responsible for driving community awareness and engagement through innovative strategies. The role involves planning and executing community campaigns, conducting training and orientations, providing counseling, and utilizing local methods such as miking, posting posters, and distributing leaflets to reach potential fistula patients. The objective is to maximize available resources and opportunities for identifying and supporting those at risk. Additionally, the position requires effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including UH&FPO, UFPO, local journalists, UNO LGI representative, GoB health and family planning staff,  village practitioners, TBA, and different professional groups, to create a platform for introducing and implementing the SS-FGF project.

Networking and advocacy:

• Regular communication meeting with government health and family planning officials at Upazila level

• Building good relationships with  government and NGOs staff and LGI

• Collaboration work with government /NGOs and LGI

• Link up the CFA/TBA with local health care service center and LAMB hospital.

• Advocacy with government officials  for  training/orientation  venue and space for fistula diagnostic camps at Upazila level

Data management and documentation:

• Keep training and event participants records

• Keep training participants feedback

• Training pre and post test assessment records

• Case study

• Communication meeting record

• Training/event photos

• Keep suspected fistula patient list and diagnostic patient information·         Follow-up fistula patient information

• Keep project key results

• Keep different government and NGO officials communication information

Reporting:

• Prepare monthly  program performance report

• Program key achievement, challenges and mitigation

Compensation & Other Benefits

Salary Tk. 27,000 – 28,000 per month gross. Other benefits include provident fund, festival allowance once per year, and critical illness and death benefit.
