Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Master’s Degree in Energy Systems / Renewable Energy or EEE is preferable.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 40 years
Experience in solar energy systems or solar mini grids.Hands-on experience in design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar systems.
Experience in community-based energy projects is desirable.Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, energy efficiency practices, and solar system design.
Proven ability to analyze technical data, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in the Chittagonian language and English.
Passion for sustainability and community engagement and empowerment.
Interpersonal skills, Time management, Cultural respect.

Responsibilities & Context
Provide support to the Project Management team in the execution, planning, and oversight of the project activities.
Develop detailed implementation plans, BoQs, and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budget.
Supervise and coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing of solar e-cooking systems in both refugee camps and host communities.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for installation teams, field staff, and end-users to ensure safe and effective use of appliances.
Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with national and international safety, electrical, and environmental standards.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and lessons learned documentation for internal stakeholders, donors, and partners.
Develop and conduct training sessions for field staff, community mobilizers, and beneficiaries on safe operation, maintenance, and energy-efficient practices.
Oversee the execution of clean E-cooking activities in accordance with the established work plan or as directed by the supervisor.
Contribute to the verification of the intervention area’s applicability, the identification of dedicated participants, and the selection of beneficiaries.
Consistently overseeing and assuring the technical follow-up of the project activities.
Engage with key stakeholders, including local authorities, to foster support for the project implementation.
Document training sessions, success stories, and innovative practices through photos and videos
Carry out data collection from respondents using surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), observation, and key informant interviews (KII) through field visits
Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization
