• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or  related field or equivalent work experience.

Additional Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance or testing roles, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr for test case management and defect tracking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is a plus.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Agile Tester (CAT) are a plus.

Responsibilities & Context

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

• Document and report bugs and issues found during testing, including detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity assessments.

• Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, and verify fixes and enhancements.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features meet quality standards.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to provide updates on testing progress and identify potential risks and challenges.

• Collaborate with QA and development teams to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing, and share knowledge with the team.

• Maintain test environments and test data to support ongoing testing activities.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Provide input and feedback on product design, usability, and functionality to improve the overall quality of software products.

• Understand and ensure Information Security best practices for DH solutions.
