• The Applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House/ Garments.
• Mandarin (Chinese Language) skills are mandatory.
• The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Quality Control, Audit & quality Inspection.
• Sound knowledge of all kinds of Technical Audit.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and production processes.
• Strong technical knowledge of quality systems.
• Ability to work under pressure & independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and using the Internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla, English & Mandarin (Chinese Language)
• Preference will be given to candidates with skills in Mandarin (Chinese Language)

Job Context:

We are an INTERNATIONAL BUYING HOUSE doing business in Bangladesh for more than 27 years. We are a leading buying house dedicated to producing high-quality apparel for global markets. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation in the fashion industry.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join our team at the Liaison Office in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control within a garment factory or buying a house.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of garments at various stages of production.
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control processes and outcomes.
• Provide training and guidelines to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Deal with the quality concern independently for all quality control activities including quality control, Audit, In-process inspection & In-line inspection.
• Maintaining the Standard Operating Procedure as per buyer’s guidelines.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among the inter-department and other departments of the company.
• Work closely with factory key personnel on sampling and sewing areas to ensure delivery dates.
• Ensure the correct process is maintained in all test submission processes.
• Follow up on the inspection schedule to ensure the lot-wise inspection is on time.
• Maintain a good & healthy relationship with our Head Office and supply factories through effective communication regularly.
• Maintain a good working environment between all team members.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management.
