Ability to read and understand structural and construction drawings.
Good knowledge of steel structures, fabrication, erection, roofing, cladding, and related works.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
Ability to supervise and manage workers effectively.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to work at project sites and travel when required.
Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills will be an advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities at project sites, particularly steel shed/building construction. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of structural work, building construction, site management, and the ability to coordinate workers, contractors, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
Manage and coordinate workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, designs, specifications, and schedules.
Read and understand structural, architectural, and construction drawings.
Supervise steel shed fabrication, erection, roofing, cladding, and related structural works.
Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality of structural and building works.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
Monitor the availability and proper use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Ensure work is completed within the planned schedule and maintain daily progress records.
Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team to resolve them efficiently.
Ensure proper workmanship and compliance with project quality standards.
Maintain site safety and ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and update management on project status.
Monitor material consumption and minimize unnecessary wastage.
Assist engineers and project managers with site measurements, inspections, and quantity verification.
Ensure the site is kept organized, clean, and safe throughout the construction period.
