Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead a regional sales team to maximize sales revenue and achieve regional sales targets.
  • Plan, execute, and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual animal feed, poultry, cattle, and aquafeed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Monitor the daily activities of the sales team as per the prescheduled tour/visit.
  • Closely observe and monitor competitor activities and field performance.
  • Supervise & guide the sales force regularly to increase market share and sales.
  • Prepare annual sales budget and maintain budgetary control of sales expenses.
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Responsible for credit allocation, proper credit disbursement against sales, and credit recovery.
  • Reduce market returns and cost-effectively run regional activities.
  • Organize the weekly, monthly & quarterly regional sales review meetings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Explain company policy to the field force to avoid being misleading.
  • Design & implement different sales promotion strategies with the marketing department to enhance sales.
  • Explore new markets and sales channels by analyzing market intelligence reports, secondary sales data, and market visits to increase market share.
  • Evaluate the sales force’s performance, identify the weak areas, and take the initiative to resolve them.
