Requirements

Education

  • Masters
  • MBA/MBM/Masters (preferably Business) from UGC approved universities having no 3rd class in academic records.
  • Candidate having minimum 16 years of schooling will be eligible.

Experience

    • At least 1 year

Additional Requirements

Minimum 01 year of work experience as relationship officer or relevant experience in a commercial banks/ financial institution.

Other Competency

  • Candidates should have enthusiasm, self-motivation and strong interpersonal skill along with high level of integrity to develop career in a highly competitive and challenging environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Identify, acquire and onboard new retail & SME clients to expand the bank’s customer base, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business strategy.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with retail & SME clients, ensuring superior service, satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive business by expanding the customer base and achieving targets for loans & deposit by cross-selling and up-selling appropriate banking products and services tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective clients to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities and provide proactive solutions.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless, one-stop banking experience.
  • Perform financial analysis, assess creditworthiness and prepare credit proposals to support sound lending decisions.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, minimize NPLs to ensure sustainable asset growth and asset quality, enforce adherence to bank policies, credit standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare and review credit proposal/ call reports; maintain accurate MIS; and ensure proper documentation and archiving of client files.
  • Ensure smooth execution of banking operations (account services, fund transfers, e-GP, etc.) with adherence to AML/KYC standards.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams (credit, operations, compliance, audit, etc.) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management to support the smooth functioning of the branch.
