Requirements
Education
- Master of Social Science (MSS) in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies
- Master of Arts (MA) in Economics, Mass Communication & Journalism
- Master’s degree from a recognized university. Students who graduated with a degree in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, Mass Communication and Journalism and Economics departments are encouraged to apply.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.50 is required in both Honours and Masters.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Govt./ Semi Govt./ Autonomous body, Research Organization
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 30 years
- Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage.
- Deep understanding of research methodology is required. Skill and experience in data collection from field, analysis, and presentation for conducting academic research.
- Required knowledge of mathematics and statistics, data based quantitative tools for conducting academic research.
- Good people skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage.

Job Title. Research Analyst
Description: Osmani Centre for Peace and Security Studies (OCPASS) invites applications from dynamic, motivated, and qualified candidates for the position of Research Analyst.
Job Responsibilities.
- Assist conducting research on peace, security, and related fields.
- Draft research proposals, collect, analyze, and present data, prepare reports, work as rapporteur, draft concept notes, and other relevant documents, as necessary.
- Coordinate and organize various academic and professional events such as seminars, webinars, roundtable discussions, workshops, and conferences.
- Proofreading, editing, and basic editorial tasks for research publications and documents.
- Host and moderate podcasts, online talk shows, and other digital outreach activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
