Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Rules, local safety regulations, international standards and best practices.
- Experience in risk assessment, safety audits, and report preparation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong communication skills, especially in English.
- HSE&S-related certifications from accredited institutions (e.g. NEBOSH / IOSH and Fire Safety Manager Course of 6 months duration from BFSCD) will be an added advantage.

Job Context:

Meghna PVC Ltd., a sister concern of the Meghna Group of Industries, is currently the pioneer and leading PVC & PET resin manufacturer in Bangladesh.This role will support Meghna PVC Limited (MPVCL) & Tasnim Chemical Complex Limited (TCCL) by overseeing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor HSE compliance during site operations and construction activity.
- Identify and mitigate unsafe acts and conditions.
- Assist in risk assessments and operational safety reviews.
- Investigate incident & near miss and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Audit Permit to Work (PTW) system and enforce Safe System of Work (SSW).
- Develop safety training content and technical report presentation.
- Conduct safety training sessions and inspections.
- Implement LOTO and hazardous energy isolation processes in the workplace.
- Implement chemical safety protocols and oversee traffic/transportation safety.
- Assist in fire, environmental, and emergency management system establishment.
- Promote a safety culture with workplace safety awareness and regulatory compliance.
- Perform any new assignment in relation to maintaining occupational health & safety.
