Responsibilities & Context

The head of operation(Northern Zone) is the head of the manned guard operations excluding the Southern region. He will focus/emphasise on the following activities:
Liaison with the client & attend client meetings especially to ensure operational/contractual requirements/commitment, and improve the quality & standard of service.
Lead the Security Operations by having full command and control of operational officers & under command. Ensure incident-free and safe operations by the workforce. Ensure that adequate supervision is available in all posts.
Ensure that all accidents/Incidents are reported. when necessary assist in any investigation and also ensure that corrective and preventive actions are carried out.
Will make strong liaisons with Law Enforcement Agencies. Will keep close contact with the local Police, Police Control Room and all necessary points of contact for quick support in case of Emergency.
Preparing/developing various security-related policies, procedures, instructions and SOPs of the project/ Post.
Monitor meeting minutes, visit report observations & recommendations & take appropriate action.
To provide general guidelines on guard deployment, and operational planning covering the activities of Zonal In-charge & Sub-zonal In-charges. Special attention on reporting any incident, & assisting in preparing subsequent investigation process if need be.
Maintain coordination & provide updated information on manned guard operations to higher management.
To provide guidelines for Planning, execution & deployment of upcoming Manned guard services & to higher management & other concerns.
Finical cost analysis/management of the entire Manned guard operation.
To conduct/attend meetings with supervisors/ZICs/SZICs to share the client observations/expectations to improve the quality of service. Give necessary operational briefing/ guidelines to JAVP (Ops) & his team to run the operation smoothly.
Ensure compliance issues are being followed & maintained by the under command as per office requirements.
Arrangement of salary, leave management, Overall discipline & welfare of the Division,
Be prepared to take any other duties as deemed fit by top management especially new concepts & strategies to improve overall service standards.
