About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Laravel Developer to take full ownership of our development team and projects. This role requires a highly experienced developer who can lead, plan, and execute Laravel-based applications while maintaining coding standards and best practices. You will be responsible for project architecture, team management, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Development Team – Oversee and mentor developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Project Planning & Execution – Define technical architecture, set project guidelines, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain Code Quality – Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure optimal application performance.
• System & Database Optimization – Optimize queries, resolve N+1 issues, and improve application efficiency.
• API & Frontend Collaboration – Develop and maintain RESTful APIs while working closely with frontend developers using JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Axios.
• Infrastructure & Deployment – Manage server configurations, .htaccess rules, caching, and security best practices.
• Ensure Compliance & Security – Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
• Strategic Decision-Making – Recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve workflow.
• Documentation & Process Management – Maintain clear documentation and ensure smooth project handovers.

  Requirements
  

• 5+ years of experience in Laravel development.
  Expertise in PHP 5+, Laravel 10/11, and modern MVC architecture.
• Strong database skills with MySQL, Eloquent ORM, query optimization.
• Experience managing a team and leading projects from start to finish.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Axios, and frontend integration.
• Proficiency in Git, Composer, NPM, and modern DevOps tools.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and security best practices.
• Experience in server-side DataTables processing and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of .htaccess, caching, CORS, and server configurations.

• Ability to set development guidelines and enforce team-wide coding standards.

  Nice to Have

• Experience with WordPress development and integrations.
• Exposure to ERP systems and file management workflows.
• Familiarity with Vue.js or React for frontend enhancements.
