Responsibilities & Context

This position will play the key role in overall function of accounts department through review and developing existing processes, ensuring financial compliances, automation, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and forecasts to senior management, enabling informed decision-making.
• Develop, review, and update financial policies, guidelines, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and the unique requirements of the e-commerce sector.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Manage all tax and VAT-related documentation, including preparation and timely submission of withholding tax and VAT returns; liaise with relevant authorities such as RJSC, City Municipality/Corporation, Tax and VAT offices as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors to design, customize, and implement accounting software/ERP solutions tailored to business needs.
• Identify and drive cost optimization initiatives across the organization.
• Lead supplier and vendor evaluation, selection, and negotiation to secure favorable terms and maintain strong partnerships.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support long-term business growth and financial planning.
• Oversee cash flow management and fund operations to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
• Supervise and mentor accounting and store department teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all activities.
• Review and approve monthly bank reconciliation statements prepared by the accounting team.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
