Job Purpose

Develop and implement digital intervention to assist MF program to optimize processes, increase operational efficiency, reduce costs in the long run while ensuring programme’s logn term sustainability and establish an effective eco-system that will support microfinance clients to adapt better to the changing digital landscape of the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the team to manage and implement projects successfully on time, using digital solutions effectively and efficiently.

  • To engage in developing a digital working culture by shaping skills, processes, people and tools to deliver the programme objectives.

  • To keep and maintain strong communication and partnership with other units, programmes, Fintechs and relevant stakeholders to design and implement digital products and services.

  • To conceptualise projects through research to find new digital interventions within the program including project design, budgeting, risk mapping and project evaluation metrics.

  • To manage and mentor the team effectively, driving initiatives, performance, teamwork and map out the skills of each team member to prepare fruitful development plan.

  • To ensure regular follow-up of the project operations and effective monitoring to drive execution smoothly.

  • To analyse and assess existing processes and activities to introduce and drive alternative digital interventions for smooth and efficient operations.

  • To keep updating digital interventions/technologies that can be replicated for to enhance operational efficiency or client service for BRAC Microfinance.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
