Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A master’s degree or professional certification in Quality Management, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO systems will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context
- Lead the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions across the knit garment manufacturing process, from fabric inspection to final shipment.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS), SOPs, and quality policies aligned with international buyer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards as well Japanese Quality Standard, AQL requirements, product specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor inline, end-line, and final inspections to ensure defect prevention and consistent product quality.
- Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, Technical, IE, Finishing, Washing, and Compliance teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Lead pre-production meetings, risk assessments, pilot runs, and quality reviews for new styles.
- Drive Right First Time (RFT) initiatives and continuous improvement programs to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
- Manage buyer audits, third-party inspections, and technical visits while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Ensure all quality records, inspection reports, and documentation are maintained accurately and submitted on time.
- Build, mentor, and develop QA/QC teams through structured training, coaching, and performance management.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and prepare management reports with actionable recommendations.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Well known on Fish bone, kaizan kanban sigma rules etc.
