Experience Requirements:

•B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry from a recognized university/institute.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a bakery or food manufacturing industry.

    Additional Requirements:

  • Age not exceeding 32 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and ISO systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP/QA documentation software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of food safety, hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP standards in bakery production operations.
  • It is not enough to only observe and supervise; when necessary, one must be willing to wholeheartedly perform and demonstrate any task at any time, and be prepared to work with their own hands.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of full bakery production processes, including dough preparation, baking techniques, ingredient handling, temperature control, hygiene standards, and packaging procedures.
  • Conduct in-process and final product quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal specifications.
  • Monitor and document critical control points (CCPs) and ensure traceability throughout the production process.
  • Oversee the inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, ensuring conformance to quality standards.
  • Investigate non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and update QA-related records, reports, and documentation in alignment with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to maintain consistency in quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and facilitation of internal and external quality audits and certifications (e.g., ISO, HACCP, BRC).
  • Provide training to QA staff and production employees on quality standards, SOPs, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
  • Support R&D activities for product innovation, shelf-life improvement, and recipe optimization in the bakery segment.
  • Contribute to trials for new raw materials, packaging, and processing techniques to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process control, and overall operational performance.
