Union to Union and the project in Bangladesh (project number 60649)

Union to Union’s project in Bangladesh aims to strengthen labour rights through a collaboration between Union to Union (UtoU), Swedish trade unions, and four global union federations (GUFs), and their affiliates in Bangladesh. Specifically, the program aims to strengthen the union movement in Bangladesh, support decent work through social dialogue, collective bargaining, as well as the mobilization and coordination of Bangladeshi trade unions.

Objectives of the consultancy

As part of the program, the UtoU program coordinator will develop a comprehensive country context overview to capture various socio-economic factors essential for understanding the trade union movement in Bangladesh. Additionally, the consultancy will produce a brief strategic document focusing on the project’s thematic areas.
