Responsibilities & Context

Bashundhara Group-Cement Industry seeks a dynamic and skilled Shift Engineer (Pack House) to oversee and optimize the packaging operations in a high-performance production environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless packaging and dispatch of cement while maintaining strict compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Monitor and control packaging operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure cement is packed in appropriate bags (e.g., 50 kg) and efficiently loaded for dispatch.
• Address mechanical or electrical issues in packing machines and other equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure equipment operates within environmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure proper bagging and weight accuracy of cement bags.
• Inspect and maintain the quality of raw materials used in packaging.
• Supervise shift workers, including operators and laborers.
• Provide training and guidance for smooth operations.
• Maintain production, equipment downtime, maintenance schedules, and shift performance records.
• Submit detailed shift reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch.
