Responsibilities & Context
• Shift Management & Manpower:
• Prepare and execute shift-wise manpower schedules based on production demands.
• Supervise and guide production team members during the shift to meet performance targets.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and efficiency among shift staff.
- Production Operations:
• Monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure achievement of output targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control departments to minimize downtime and resolve production issues promptly.
• Planning & Budgeting:
• Assist in preparing monthly production plans aligned with capacity and demand forecasts.
• Develop and maintain a manpower budget considering production requirements and efficiency goals.
• Cost & Efficiency Control:
• Identify and implement methods to reduce production time, material wastage, and overall costs.
• Optimize equipment usage, reduce idle times, and improve productivity metrics.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure all products meet defined quality specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to perform root cause analysis for deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain detailed shift logs, production reports, and incident records.
• Report daily progress, issues, and improvement plans to the Production Manager.
