• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance and documentation is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally if required.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: One Direction Companies Limited is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sourcing / Researching Engineer to identify and source high-quality products and materials from global markets. The candidate will play a key role in researching innovative materials, collaborating with international vendors, and ensuring the company’s sourcing processes meet global standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, source, and evaluate high-quality products and materials from international and domestic markets.
• Conduct research on global sourcing trends and suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors worldwide.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align sourcing strategies with production and operational needs.
• Ensure all sourced materials meet the required quality, compliance, and sustainability standards.
• Continuously research and suggest innovative materials and suppliers to support product development.
• Manage and maintain supplier databases, contracts, and purchase records.
• Analyze and report market trends, sourcing metrics, and supplier performance for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of sourced materials.
