Responsibilities & Context

As we prepare for the upcoming Academic Year 2024/25, Smart Innovations School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teacher to join our team. The SEN teacher will play a pivotal role in providing specialized support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring that they have access to a high-quality education that meets their individual requirements.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and external specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Provide personalized support to meet the diverse learning needs of students with SEN
Adapt teaching strategies, materials, and assessments to address the unique learning styles and abilities of students with SEN, promoting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity, promotes empathy, and values the contributions of all students.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as needed to facilitate ongoing growth and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote inclusive practices and create a culture of support and acceptance throughout the school community.
Maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and seeking their input in the development and implementation of support plans.
