Responsibilities & Context

  • Supervise and perform tests on various microbiological activities on a regular basis.
  • Perform various cultures of microorganisms in isolation according to standard inhibition and ensure controls over moisture and temperature.
  • Maintain knowledge on various testing methods and perform all manual operations on various supplies.
  • Monitor all physiological and morphological characteristics and identify microorganisms.
  • Develop various testing processes for all raw materials and equipment’s and monitor all finish products.
  • Perform laboratory analysis on all materials after appropriate sterilization.
  • Calibration and maintenance of QC instruments and other apparatus.
  • Perform Environmental monitoring within manufacturing and laboratory facilities.
  • To check all analytical report of RM/PM and bulk products as per SOP’s.
  • Prepare reagent and check its strength for analytical works.
  • Prepare report on refused/rejected products as per policy.
  • Establish company’s quality procedure standard (SOP), update test procedure and specification.
  • Perform tests on component samples, identify any contamination and perform analysis for appropriate source for same and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop and prepare documents for all protocols and perform tests on all incoming ingredients and documents all records.
  • Investigate all issues and prevent any GMP/HACCAP issues regularly.
  • Monitor both local & export quality control (QC) activities regularly for prevention of microbial growth in raw material and finished goods.
  • Check and ensure online QC report, monitoring pest control activities and healthy sanitation & hygiene condition everywhere.
  • Acquire knowledge of cleaning agents and its application.
  • Maintain the lab inventory properly and regularly check its effectiveness.
  • Any other task assigned by management.
