Job Context

Reinsurance Department of a general insurance company deals with company’s relationship and partnership with overseas and local reinsurers. So, a good command in English and MS Excel is a must for a reinsurance officer, who will get an international exposure from the very beginning of the career in Reinsurance Department.

Job Responsibilities

Communicate with overseas and local reinsurers.
Communicate with foreign clients.
Prepare reinsurance summary.
Co-ordinate with other team members of the reinsurance department.
Preparing bordereaux for local reinsurers.
Complying to company’s Underwriting/Reinsurance manual and guidelines.
Taking professional counsel on insurance & reinsurance from management.
Participating in the workshop/training relating to underwriting & reinsurance
