Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor or Masters in Accounting/Finance from any reputed public or private university.
  • Preferred Professional Certification: ICAB/ICMA course completed and partly qualified.

Experience

  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile, Power

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 36 years
  • The candidate must have at least Five (05) years’ experience in any reputed Public Limited Company out of which minimum Two (2) years of experience in similar role and responsibilities.
  • Sound knowledge on IASs and IFRSs, Banking Companies Act, VAT & Tax Laws and Bangladesh Bank’s rules and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skill and leadership quality is much desired.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Should have strong skill on Tally software and other ERP.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Right now we are looking for some energetic and result oriented team members for the position of “Sr. Manager/ AGM (Financial Reporting)” in Finance & Accounts Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Statements.
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements in compliance with IAS, IFRSs, and BSEC regulations.
  • Deal with external auditors and ensure submission of Audited Financial Statements to Security and Exchange Commission.
  • Actively engage in preparation of the short term, mid-term and long term Business Plan and Financial Plan of the Group.
  • Active engagement in restructuring the chart of accounts and policies with a view to reduce the company expenses.
  • Prepare the Quarterly financial Report as per the BSEC regulation.
  • Supply of necessary financial and analytical data on financial statements of own and peers to the Management and helps in decision making process.
  • As a core member of the Team he/she will be actively engage in management of ALM or Balance Sheet Risk and trade-off between risk and returns to ensure a sustainable bottom-line.
  • Engage in preparation of ManCom meeting Reports, Cash flow and others MIS report for the management.
  • Engage in corporate Tax Planning and will actively engage in the computation of Tax Liabilities of the company, make monthly and annual tax provision in consultation with the Tax consultant.
  • Involve in Annual Tax Audit and VAT Audit of the company.
