Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEI&H) has been known for about 65 years and is the largest multispecialty eye hospital in Bangladesh. We are currently looking for energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic person for the following position: Supervisor, Cook House

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage cook house as well as store.
  • Ensure cook house operations and store management run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and store environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
  • Implementing and enforcing hygiene practices.
  • Monitoring food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist in menu planning and development.
  • Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly.
  • Monitor food quality and serve in scheduled time.
  • Ensure all cook house staffs are properly trained and are following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Schedule roster duty for cook house staff and monitor their leave management.
  • Conducting performance reviews and addressing any disciplinary issues.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate kitchen and store inventory levels.
  • Ordering and managing inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Conducting regular inventory checks, update in to SAP and prepare weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports.
  • Ensuring effective communication between kitchen staff and coordinating with other departments, such as Supply Chain Management and others.
