Responsibilities & Context
Gradewise Designation- Deputy Manager
Lead and mentor a team of software developers and operations professionals, conducting performance evaluations and supporting career growth.
Foster knowledge sharing, conduct training sessions, and encourage innovation within the team.
Oversee project timelines, scope, and delivery milestones, ensuring alignment with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage expectations effectively.
Monitor project progress and reallocate resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
Guide the team in developing robust, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and facilitate technical design discussions.
Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reusable code in programming languages such as Java and C#.
Utilize expertise in databases—both SQL (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)—to optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance.
Ensure the smooth operation of deployed applications, proactively monitoring performance and stability.
Lead incident management processes and conduct root-cause analysis for operational issues.
Implement processes and tools to enhance response times, reduce downtime, and streamline operations.
Contribute to the technology roadmap, aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to boost productivity and efficiency.
Advocate for DevOps principles, CI/CD, and other best practices within the team.
Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with Product, QA, and IT Infrastructure teams.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and team achievements.
Represent the team in meetings, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
