Requirements

Education

A bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by UGC is preferred. Degrees in Business, Economics, or Engineering are also preferred. An MBA in Finance, Marketing, or Management will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

  • At least 12 years

Additional Requirements

  • Should have at least 12 years of experience in banks/FIs with at least 10 years of experience in commercial/corporate banking. Experience leading a corporate/commercial banking unit would be preferable.
  • Should be able to formulate and implement effective business plans, direct team resources to achieve targets and identify potential business opportunities for portfolio growth.
  • Knowledge of credit norms, products, industry insights, and corporate banking business models is necessary.
  • Should have track records of completing working capital and term financing deals with prominent corporate segment accounts.
  • Should have the capability to attract, manage and coach staff and ensure a high-performing team.
  • Should be conversant with regulatory guidelines/policies and laws and practices for lending and recovery.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, target-oriented & work under pressure with deadlines.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication, presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Must know about effective written and oral communication in English & Bangla.
  • Expert in customer centricity, team player, and keen to develop others.

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual who possesses the right attitude for the following position in its Commercial Banking Segment under the Corporate & Institutional Banking Division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a relationship unit under the commercial banking segment, comprising mid-size businesses for the organization that aligns with the bank’s growth strategy.
  • Formulate business strategies and roadmap to achieve the budget set forth for the assigned unit.
  • Achieve targets in terms of client onboarding, portfolio growth and revenue contribution from the assigned units.
  • Build a prospective list of clienteles for the commercial banking segment in line with the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Maintain and develop an inspiring team/unit with the right knowledge, skill and attitude.
  • Supervise the assigned unit’s overall businesses in terms of business acquisition, customer relationships, and portfolio management.
  • Ensure client-visits to existing and potential customers and take hold of the highest customer mind share
  • Ensure sound portfolio quality and meet compliance requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time.
