Responsibilities & Context
- Edit raw video footage into polished news reports, features, explainers, and social media packages within tight deadlines.
- Design static and motion graphics for news, special features, and digital campaigns.
- Produce infographics, charts, and visual explainers to simplify complex data and stories.
- Add subtitles, lower-thirds, intros/outros, and branding elements to all video content.
- Collaborate with reporters, producers, and editors to ensure visual storytelling aligns with UNB’s editorial standards.
- Optimize all visuals and videos for multi-platform distribution (website, mobile, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X).
- Maintain and organize multimedia assets, ensuring proper archiving.
- Keep up to date with design, newsroom, and digital video trends to continuously elevate UNB’s visual output.
