Requirements
Education
B.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) or Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) from any reputed university.
Experience
3 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances
Additional Requirements
Age 24 to 32 years
Auto CAD & solid works design capability.
Should have sound knowledge on metal forming.
Should have knowledge on material properties.
Should have strong knowledge on heat treatment and process annealing.
Should have knowledge on surface engineering.
Responsibilities & Context
Handle and resolve metallurgical issues related to Fastener products.
Conduct applied research on metallography and microstructural characteristics of annealed and heat-treated products.
Design and develop dies for fastener manufacturing.
Conduct material standardization, case studies and root cause analysis for metallurgical and product-related issues.
Drive quality improvement and cost innovation initiatives for fastener products.
Conduct benchmarking, prototyping and development of alternative/concurrent materials.
Design annealing programs for new material grades and select appropriate heat treatment process parameters.
Maintain and manage technical documentation and records for fastener products.
