Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) from a reputed university.

Experience

    • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Electric Wire/Cable, Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Motor Vehicle body manufacturer

Additional Requirements

  • Age 20 to 30 years
  • Only Male
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, SMED, line balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience in manufacturing industries; exposure to Light Engineering or Assembly Line operations will be an advantage.
  • Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Conduct time & motion studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain Operation Bulletins (OB) and process documentation.
  • Implement and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, OEE, SMED, and other continuous improvement tools.
  • Identify process losses, bottlenecks, and waste; recommend and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Support production planning, manpower optimization, workstation design, and factory layout improvements.
  • Monitor production KPIs and prepare productivity, efficiency, and operational performance reports.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to drive process improvements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and standard operating practices.
  • Support operational excellence initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct manpower planning and resource allocation based on production capacity and demand.
  • Perform monthly operational performance analysis and present improvement recommendations to management.
