Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on buyer delivery schedules.
- Develop factory loading plans considering available capacity and resources.
- Monitor order status and production progress against the approved plan.
- Ensure smooth production flow from cutting to shipment.
- Balance production lines and allocate resources to maximize efficiency.
- Analyze factory capacity and machine availability.
- Conduct capacity booking for new orders.
- Track order progress from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with Merchandising and Production teams to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor critical path activities and escalate potential delays.
- Ensure shipment deadlines are achieved as per buyer requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Store departments regarding fabric, trims, and accessories availability.
- Ensure materials are available before production starts.
- Monitor material shortages and arrange corrective actions.
- Prepare production status reports and shipment forecasts.
- Analyze production performance and efficiency trends.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Maintain accurate planning databases and records.
- Work closely with Merchandising, IE, Production, Quality, Compliance, and Commercial departments.
