Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a reliable and proactive POS Support Engineer to ensure the smooth installation, maintenance, and operation of POS terminals at merchant locations on behalf of partner banks. This role sits at the intersection of field support, technical troubleshooting, and client relationship management — making it ideal for someone who thrives on quick problem-solving and on-the-ground coordination.
- Install, maintain, and fix POS machines at merchant locations to ensure smooth service for banks and merchants.
- Set up, configure, and activate POS terminals for different banks as needed.
- Replace or manage SIM cards, adapters, and batteries in POS terminals at merchant locations when required.
- Build and maintain good relationships with bank officials and merchants for effective coordination.
- Quickly identify, analyze, and resolve issues reported at client sites.
- Provide timely support to banks and merchants at any time and any place as needed.
- Work well under pressure and handle urgent technical problems efficiently.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure uninterrupted POS operations.
- Keep proper records of support activities and regularly update status reports.
