Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Candidates with CA (CC), CMA (Part Qualified), or professional accounting qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

    • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread), Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Practical knowledge of VAT, Tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good command of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Hot & Crusty Bakeries Ltd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance & Accounts team as Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts & Audit. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, supporting audit activities, and maintaining strong internal controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, vouchers, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and management reports.
  • Conduct internal audits of outlets, inventory, cash management, and operational transactions.
  • Support external audit processes and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Monitor outlet-wise sales, expenses, cash collection, and financial performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and review accounts payable & receivable activities.
  • Assist in VAT, Tax, and regulatory compliance-related activities.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend improvements in accounting processes.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
