Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration
- MBA preferred
Experience
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fisheries, Group of Companies
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of VAT, Tax, and local financial regulations.
Responsibilities & Context
- Maintain cash & bank book, vouchers, supporting documents, Bank reconciliations and monitor accounts payable/receivable.
- Process vendor bills, payment vouchers & ensure timely settlements.
- Manage petty cash and maintain proper documentation.
- Deduct TDS as per the Income Tax Act from eligible vendor payments & collect TDS challan from customers.
- Deposit VAT & Tax to the government treasury within deadlines.
- Record daily financial transactions in a journal and the general ledger.
- Enter daily financial transactions into ERP systems.
- Assist in preparing annual and departmental budgets & track expenses against budgets and support costing sheets for products/services.
- Support monthly/quarterly financial statements and management reports & also support external and internal audit requirements.
- Support in the company’s operational activities.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
