Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Professional certification/training in accounting or inventory management will be an added advantage.
Experience
-
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Fisheries
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 26 years
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting and inventory software will be preferred.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities & Context
Akij Venture Group is looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and experienced Executive – Store & Accounts for a Fisheries Development / Aquaculture Project. The position will be responsible for maintaining store operations, inventory management, accounts documentation, and financial record keeping to ensure smooth project operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock records, inventory registers, and store documentation.
- Receive, issue, and monitor project materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare bills, vouchers, invoices, and accounts-related reports.
- Support daily accounting activities and financial documentation.
- Ensure proper inventory control and reconciliation of stock records.
- Coordinate with procurement, admin, and project teams regarding store and accounts activities.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports and expenditure statements.
