Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Quality Management

Experience

    • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 45 years
  • In-depth knowledge of AQL, QA systems, and garment defects·
  • Strong leadership, team management, problem solving and multi-tasking skill.
  • Strong & Positive mentality to exercise and implement QMS within the organization.
  • Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
  • Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali. Good knowledge & skills in computing.
  • Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset timeframe.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans and maintain quality control manuals, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with company and buyer standards.
  • Set quality benchmarks aligned with buyer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Lead and mentor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams across all production units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (with merchandising, technical, and production) to integrate quality standards.
  • Oversee quality checks at all stages: Fabric inspection, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing.
  • Ensure adherence to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
  • Monitor inline and end-line inspections.
  • Monitor and identify high-risk operations and implement mitigation measures to address risk factors in daily work activities.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data (root cause analysis) to identify areas for improvement and Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Proactively identify quality risks, conduct audits, and resolve issues related to production or product quality.
  • Handle third-party inspections.
  • Develop training programs to enhance quality awareness across the organization.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to product quality.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce defects, improve process efficiency, and enhance overall quality standards.
  • Report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
  • Train and support the quality and production teams to ensure consistent performance and achieve company KPIs.
  • Develop quality awareness within the QAD team through training and development of QMS.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Product Safety, Production Management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Manufacturing Control Processes (MCP).
