Responsibilities & Context
Professor/Associate Professor will be head of Department who will be responsible to Dean and Government in all respects.
Full administration of the Department regarding – (a) Posting of Asstt. Professors, Lecturers, Registrars, House Officers, Trainees and post-graduates in Orthopaedics in various operation theatres for administration of Orthopaedics (b) Making in emergency duty list from time to time. (c) Distribution of teaching work to the under – graduate and other trainees.
- He should handle all official and non official correspondence.
- Teaching and training of Post graduates in Orthopedics. Organised seminar and other activities in the Department.
- Indenting the requirements of the Department like equipment, their maintenance, drugs and library, reference books and periodicals.
- Research work.
- Encourage and guide other staff concerned in their research work and help them in presenting their work in Annual conference.
- To take proper care and treatment of patients.
