Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

We are looking for a highly skilled corporation VAT & Tax Consultant with considerable experience in the RMG sector to join us. The Tax & VAT Consultant of Mohammadi Group’s Apparel Division (Woven, Flat Knit and Circular Knit) will report to the Finance Controller, and Senior General Manager, and collaborate with other colleagues to execute overall financial vision for the company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement tax planning strategies for current and future periods

2. Prepare and submit tax returns with due diligence, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

3. Prepare and submit relevant documents and support as per the requirement of the tax authority for completing income tax assessment

4. Prepare and submit monthly TDS Statements, WHT Return as per ITA 2023

5. Ensure 100% TDS as per local laws

6. Develop and implement VAT planning strategies for current and future periods. Prepare and submit VAT Returns with due diligence, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Maintain VAT-related records, including Mushak accounts, VAT reconciliations, and VAT return submissions.

8. Facilitate VAT refund applications and coordinate with VAT Division & VAT Commissioner Office as required

9. Ensure 100% VDS deduction at source as per local laws

10. Manage Tax/VAT audits and files under appeal

11.Any other jobs assigned by the Management.
