Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain overall store operation.
  • Notify the concern section (Merchandising, Production, and Commercial etc.) regarding in-house materials and the balance quantity of those materials.
  • Follow up styles-wise files for the accessories and conduct Inventory with ensuing proper report.
  • Implementing operational strategies and procedures in store as per prescribed SOP.
  • Ensuring maintenance of Store compliance including LIFO, FIFO & BIN Card Methods.
  • Ensuring all reception and distribution of materials are properly posted and documented as well.
  • Supervising all stores operational issues and upholding the safety of the storehouse.
  • Coordinate with PPC, Merchandiser, Purchase/Procurement Team, Commercial, F & A, Audit department & necessary departments;
  • Create ERP requisition of all kinds of general items, Accessories, Yarn, chemicals, spare parts etc. to meet smooth production and Operation;
  • Ensure Buyer COC requirement, BSCI, ACCORD, BCI GOTS, OCS, etc.
  • Audit traceability records maintain properly;
  • To Monitor and Control monthly Inventory accordingly participates in physical Inventories by counting stock;
  • Monitor daily/ weekly/ monthly stock statements of the designated floor; Checking bills, vouchers, receipts, and all documents for authenticity;
  • Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office package along with LOGIC, ERP and other related Software.
  • Maintain close liaison with the Production and Merchandising Department and cater to their requirement successfully.
  • Make sure correspondent with Transport, CNF against, export and import. To keep fabric, pocketing, lining and contrast as per buyer/style/PO/color wise.
  • Follow up & checking the import indents as per requirement of respective department on the basis of Lead time & after justifying the stock level.
  • Fabric/materials after delivery & distribution according to the requisition.
  • Need to check and entry to the register following: Materials Purchase Requisition (MPR);
  • Reports: (Materials Receiving Report (MRR); Materials Issue Slips (MIS); Materials Transfer Challan (MTC); Gate Pass; Transfer Materials Receiving Report (TMRR); Materials Transfer Requisition Form).
  • Following up on shipment schedule of materials (ETD & ETA). Perform any task assigned by the management as and when required.
