Responsibilities & Context
- To perform development of analytical method/feasibility study of proposed new products in the Animal Health Division.
- To prepare working manual for submission to drug testing laboratory as per established protocol.
- To prepare product sample for submission to drug testing laboratory as per established protocol.
- To review method of existing products based on product or market complaints, stability related problems or cost saving need.
- To prepare recipe & annexure for submission to drugs administration.
- To determine raw & packaging materials specifications & quantifications, raise requisition of the same to commercial department for new products.
- To prepare and update all documents and instructions related to product development, cGMP & ISO.
- To review formulation/method of existing products based on product or market complaints, stability related problems or cost saving need.
- To perform physical and chemical tests relevant to product development, analytical method development and validation.
- To undertake production of lab batch, pilot batch / stability batch, trial batch / scale up batch of new products/reformulation products making liaison with production, QA, engineering, marketing, regulatory & commercial department as & when required.
- To perform physical and chemical tests required for stability analysis such as accelerated stability, real time or ongoing study of new products.
