The Manager will oversee IT hardware product sales through distribution channels and retail markets, ensuring effective product placement and market penetration. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, building strong distribution networks, and working closely with the sales team to boost revenue. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive distribution and retail sales strategies to drive revenue growth across targeted product categories.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, set performance targets, and prepare sales plans on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Build, manage, and expand the company’s distribution network to ensure extensive market coverage across regions.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with distributors, resellers, and channel partners to ensure product availability.
  • Monitor and evaluate distribution performance, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results.
  • Build relationships with retail chains and independent retailers to enhance product placement and promotional activities.
  • Oversee in-store marketing initiatives, including product displays, promotions, and campaigns to boost sales.
  • Ensure retail outlets are well-stocked and provide training to retail staff on product features and benefits.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities in both distribution and retail channels.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, refining sales strategies accordingly.
  • Acquire a deep knowledge of the company’s product lines, including laptops, desktop PCs, printers, projectors, UPS, IFPs, video walls, kiosks, digital signage, and display solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, applying insights to drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Resolve product delivery, quality, or customer satisfaction issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements, sales contracts, and pricing terms with partners.
  • Track sales metrics, monitor performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing training opportunities to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain accurate documentation of sales activities.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, including strategic recommendations.
  • Identify and generate new dealer and retailer leads, onboard new sales areas, and meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management to meet sales goals.
