Job Circular: Deputy Manager/Manager (Light Industry)
Overview:
RFL, a leading local conglomerate with a rich legacy in the Light industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation is seeking for a dedicated “Deputy Manager/ Manager-Light” to oversee and optimize our Light Operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, optimizing processes, and enhancing overall productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a passion for the Light industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operation Management:
- Oversee daily Operation to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage day-to-day Operation of the Light production, ensuring efficient Operation and delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Plan, organize and direct distribution operation to ensure product availability.
- Sales forecasting and Raw material planning
- Process development and automation initiatives to improve productivity
- Raw material and Machine sourcing & planning
- Direct day-to-day operations focused on attainment of key business metrics, continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze reports, records and directives to obtain data required for planning department activities.
2. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards.
- Monitor product quality and collaborate with other departments to address any issues.
3. Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of company-wide strategic plans and initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to align production goals with overall business objectives.
5. Supply Chain Management:
- Manage the Supply chain Process from procurement to delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely & cost-effective procurement of materials & parts.
- Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stock- Outs & excess inventory
6. Production Oversight:
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, including performance metrics, production schedules, and inventory levels.
