Set up and operate various types of weaving machines (such as shuttle looms, air jet looms, rapier looms, or dobby looms) to produce woven fabric according to specifications.
Load yarns onto weaving machines, ensuring proper tension and alignment for smooth operation.
Monitor the operation of weaving machines during the production run to ensure consistent quality and timely completion of orders.
Perform regular maintenance on weaving machines, including cleaning, oiling, and replacing worn parts.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to repair machines when necessary and reduce production downtime.
Monitor fabric quality during production to ensure it meets specified standards for weave, color, and finish.
Inspect finished fabric for defects such as uneven weaving, color mismatches, or yarn breakage.
Suggest and implement improvements to optimize the weaving process, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Collaborate with the Weaving Supervisor, Production Manager, and other team members to meet production schedules and goals.
Maintain accurate records of weaving machine settings, production output, maintenance activities, and any adjustments made during the weaving process.
Ensure that the team is properly trained.
