Responsibilities & Context

1. Travel Agent Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in planning and booking flights, hotels, and travel packages.

  • Provide information on destinations, travel regulations, and visa requirements.

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues related to bookings.

  • Keep up to date with airline policies, promotions, and travel trends.

  • Maintain and update customer records in the booking system.

2. Airline Ticketing Agent Responsibilities:

  • Process ticket bookings for passengers via phone, in-person, or online.

  • Issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets as necessary.

  • Handle changes to itineraries and assist with cancellations.

  • Provide information on flight schedules, fares, and travel policies.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., customer service, baggage) to resolve issues.

3. Customer Service Representative (Travel) Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries about flight bookings and travel arrangements.

  • Assist customers with the check-in process and provide boarding information.
