Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Food Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Fisheries
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 28 years
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to travel frequently to project areas.
Responsibilities & Context
Akij Venture Group is looking for a competent and experienced Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager – QC for a Fisheries Development / Aquaculture Project. The position will be responsible for ensuring quality control, compliance, monitoring, and implementation standards of project activities in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure quality standards in project implementation and fisheries activities.
- Conduct regular field inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.
- Prepare quality control reports, documentation, and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain operational and technical standards.
- Support development and implementation of QC procedures, guidelines, and checklists.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and government regulations.
- Assist in training field staff on quality assurance and compliance issues.
- Monitor utilization of project materials, inputs, and operational processes.
